Maple Lane Farm is a working, small diversified farm specializing in minor livestock breeds such as Belted Galloway cattle, Percheron Draft horses and Aracauna chickens.

Enjoy a restful stay in the restored ell of an 1800's center chimney colonial home. Or stay in the cottage near the three story barn. Stroll down the lane lined by century old maples, discover the playful spring lambs on the pastures, take a hike, cross country ski, gaze at the stars or listen for the song of a coyote.

There are gardens, orchards, woods and pastures which surround this 50 Acre estate. There is an exceptional view and you may indeed hear a loon, or a great horned owl. Your hosts, Bill and Robbi Portela also invite you to visit Maple Lane Gallery, where you will find exceptional stoneware pottery, fine gifts and antiques.

The Main Farmhouse

Maple Lane Farm is located in the beautiful Kennebec River valley in central, coastal Maine. The farm and gallery are only 10 minutes from the state capital of Augusta and 30 minutes from the coastal cities of Rockport, Camden or Belfast.
